Voting is open for the 2007 WebLog Awards. The winners will be announced at the Blogging and New Media expo in Las Vegas Nov 8&9th. Acute Politics is not in the running this time, so you won't have to worry about excessive, self serving promotion coming from this page. That'll teach me not to update! Seriously, though... the list has some great blogs that really deserve to win some recognition.
On the MilBlog front, the contenders are:
Blackfive
Michael Yon
The Long War Journal
OPFOR
American Soldier
Jeff Emanuel
Badgers Forward
The Sandbox
Army of Dude
SpouseBuzz
Before now poetry has taken notice
Of wars, and what are wars but politics
Transformed from chronic to acute and bloody?
from "Build Soil"
Robert Frost

whoa. tough one. I read almost all of those (thanks to the Sandbox). They're all good.
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice list.
ReplyDeleteHope you keep up your posting, and perhaps you'll be back in the mix next year!
that is a tough one...
ReplyDeleteI tried to spread my nominations out...and sadly it did not work.
They lumped us all up together!
Also note From My Position is nominated in a TLB catagory!
As much as I'd Like to vote for your Captain Coulson, I had to go with Michael Yon.
ReplyDeleteThanks Army Wife for the heads up on My Position on The Way. Imissed that one.
And thanks TD for making me aware of Army of Dude.
I am most amused that LGF is kicking Kos's rear end for "best online community".
ReplyDeleteWhen I say kicking, I mean it's doing the Downtown Dallas Stomp all over it.
